If you're interested in helping us make our way across the country and back, we've begun a KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN. There are some great awards on offer and the money will be huge towards helping us reach a wider audience across the country.

We're just a few short weeks away from our EP release party with our buds the Tumbleweed Wanderers (who, incidentally, are ALSO releasing a new EP) at one of the bay area's finest venues. After a few months in and out of Tiny Telephone Studios we've finally wrapped these recordings up, and we're incredibly excited to show them to everybody!
The extended radio silence on the site is also due to the fact that we've been spending most of our time booking a national tour for this summer- we've already locked down dates all the way across the country and back, but there are a few stragglers... the full lineup will be released in not too long so stay tuned for details!

Well, here it is. We're incredibly excited to share the first single off of our forthcoming EP. We'll be celebrating the release this Friday, Feb. 22nd at the Rickshaw Stop with two other fantastic local acts in The Seshen and Ash Reiter. The Seshen have also just released their new single, which you can listen to HERE.
We'd also like to thank Amanda over at KQED Arts for this fantastic write-up in connection with the next show. You can RSVP to the facebook event HERE.

We're all incredibly excited to be back at the Rickshaw Stop on Friday, Feb 22nd. We're co-headlining with a brilliant local act The Seshen, who you really should check out it you haven't already! Also in support is another fantastic local artist Ash Reiter... we've had the pleasure of playing on some very strong bills in the past and this is right up there!
This is also a big night for us as we'll be releasing the first single from our forthcoming EP. The track is a major step up from all of our previous recordings and we're itching to share it with everybody! The Seshen will also be releasing a new track, so this is looking to be a big night!
You can grab tickets HERE.

Howdy all,
First things first- huge thanks to the surprisingly rowdy group of folks that made it out to the Hotel Utah last night on such short notice. We had a blast grooving with you- it was a great way to prepare for a great little run of shows over the next week.
Part of that run will be opening up for the supremely talented Gin Wigmore this TUESDAY, JANUARY 22nd at Cafe du Nord. We haven't played there in a while and it's a treat to be getting things going for one of the hottest acts around- she'll be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel the following night! TICKETS HERE.
Also on the cards are another visit to San Jose, and a semi-Elkfest reunion in the wooded gulch of La Honda (east of Pescadero) on Saturday night. See you all out there!

Howdy folks. While the new year honeymoon/hangover period is probably behind us, all of the gentleman in Guy Fox are getting very excited for the next few months. Most pressing are shows with new buddies Brolly at the Hotel Utah January 16th, followed by a little jaunt down south to SLG Art Boutiki on the 18th (facebook event page HERE) and a two more shows to be announced shortly.
Also on the agenda:
Also, worth mentioning that our EP and latest single are now both available for FREE DOWNLOAD on our bandcamp page.

Without further ado... we're happy to share our newest recording with everybody! Please join us at SF's Bottom of the Hill this Friday, November 30th to come celebrate. We'll be joined by some fantastic local acts (links/details in the post below).
The single is AVAILABLE FOR FREE DOWNLOAD/STREAMING HERE, or you can stream it from the "music" tab on this site.
Special thanks go to Jeremy over at Studio SQ for engineering, mixing and mastering, and Katie Longua for the fantastic album art.

Yes yes, everybody! We're just about a week away from our biggest show to date. Bottom of the Hill has been extremely kind to us over the past year, providing a fantastic setting for us to support the Tumbleweed Wanderers and Bright Light Social Hour. This time out we'll be headlining for the first time and are celebrating by releasing a new single (our drummer/singer Petey's tune "Home"), available as a free download.
The lineup that's been put together is completely stacked! Semi-motown-revivalists Ghost & the City will also be releasing a new single (!!!), while the fantastically talented Picture Atlantic and Graham Patzner (of Whiskerman) will help ensure this is a night that isn't to be missed.
We also need to thank the 100s of people that made the trip out to this year's Elkfest a few weeks back. It was truly a special night, and something tells us that we'll see many of you next year in the woods for more live music, roast pig, slip'n'sliding, woodfire hottubbing and late-night dance partying.
See you all on November 30th! Get tickets in advance here.

Ah yes... it's that time of the year again. Last year's Elkfest was a truly special occasion, and we expect this year to be bigger and better in pretty much every way. November 3rd is the date of the next campout/festival/goat roast/bocce extravaganza, with Tumbleweed Wanderers and the Rainbow Girls in attendance on the musical side of things.
And in keeping with a short tradition, the boys in Guy Fox have put together a little musical invitation which can be viewed HERE. It may not be able to compete with last year's invitation for utterly bizarre vibes or Petey's unerring ability to stare at the camera without blinking, but we tried.
Full details can be found at the facebook event page-- the only necessities are a tent and $20, and rumor has it a bathing suit wouldn't be a bad idea...

We've had the pleasure of being on some ridiculously strong bills in the past month- sharing the stage with the likes of The Bright Light Social Hour, Tumbleweed Wanderers, Song Preservation Society and the French Cassettes just to name a few.
Luckily for us, the trend looks set to continue with next week's show at Brick & Mortar Music Hall. We're incredibly excited to be playing another show with SF's very own DRMS, a Guy Fox favorite and personal friends to boot. If you have yet to check out their debut album, it can't be recommended highly enough! The two groups will be supporting fellow east-coast transplants Big Tree.
The genre-bending fun begins at 7:30pm, as B+M is also hosting a Hardly-Strictly pregame event later in the evening.
You can get tickets in advance HERE.

We're all very excited to be sharing the stage yet again Austin's The Bright Light Social Hour, who put on quite the show. We were lucky enough to open up for them on their first trip to SF last fall at the Boom Boom Room and they've been touring nationally ever since. Also in support are well-known locals French Cassettes. Not to be missed!
Bottom of the Hill, Wednesday, September 19th. You can get your tickets in advance here.

Quick update- tickets for the benefit concert at Milk Bar are going fast! Considering that the last two shows we played with the Tumbleweed Wanderers (at du Nord and Bottom of the Hill) were sell-outs, it's not a bad idea to get yours in advance. Click here to buy a ticket- you can also make a donation to the American Cancer Society when you buy your ticket!

The Milk Bar is a beautifully dark space great for dancing and great for the makings of some impromtu dance jams. Thus, Guy Fox is stoked. Also notable, the Fox is teaming up with Elkfest homies the Tumbleweed Wanderers. This is taking place on Saturday, Sept 8th. Don't miss out!

It was only a matter of time... Petey is spearheading our twitter effort, though all members of the band have access to keep everybody in the loop with our latest to-ings and fro-ings. Follow us @guyfoxband
A few other quick updates:
Much more info on all of this to follow!
Finally, a massive shout-out to two fantastic local music groups we've had the privilege of sharing the stage with at one time or another, each of whom has recently released a debut album (with an accompanying blowout release show) in the past week. Be sure to check out DRMS and the Tumbleweed Wanderers! (p.s. listen for Greg's tenor and bari sax on #3 of the tumbleweeds' new album)

Thanks to all that made it out. Guy Fox was loved laying down their party roots in this den of sin clad with red velvet. Thanks to Anna from Skelton Key Photography for the wonderful black snaps. Click here to see the full album on facebook!

Alright folks. Our biggest show yet is slated for Friday, July 6th at the Rickshaw Stop. This is one of the best venues in the city and is not to be missed!
The concert is celebrating Pine and Battery's new EP release, and we'll be joined by another band that's toured extensively across the west coast in Caught in Motion. CIM also happens to feature the fantastic Graham Roggli on drums, who will be joining us on stage to lay down some epic percussion skills. We're also looking forward to some inter-band collaboration on stage. See y'all there!

First off, we'd like to thank all of the people that have come out for some great shows recently- returning to Brick & Mortar to open up for The Royal Southern Brotherhood was a blast, as were our recent guerilla-style performances on Haight St and with some local friends in North Oakland along Telegraph ave.
Our next blow-out is rapidly approaching... once again we'll be teaming up with the Tumbleweed Wanderers, and the bill we've put together is looking fantastic. The uber-talented Whiskerman are headlining, with Steve Taylor kicking the show off.

So come on down to Cafe du Nord on June 8th! Check out the facebook event page here
It's also worth noting that the last show we played with these guys sold out, and this venue is a bit smaller... so we high recommend purchasing tickets in advance- you can do that here
Also, don't forget that our debut EP is available on Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify!
